August Blog Hop – Summer Meets Spooky!

Summer is still in full swing, and we’re soaking up every bit of sunshine, warm evenings and those long summer days…

But wait… did you see that?!
Every now and then, a little ghost seems to pop up! Yes, it may still feel like summer, but Halloween is slowly creeping closer… and before we know it, it will be time for pumpkins, ghosts, bats and all things spooky! 🎃🦇👻

For this Blog Hop, I created a fun birthday card featuring the adorable Bobblehead Lion design.
This card was made for a child who absolutely loves zoos and animals, so the playful lion was the perfect choice!
I love how cheerful and interactive the bobblehead element makes the card, it instantly brings a smile to your face.

I used my Siser Juliet cutting machine to bring the design to life and added bright, happy colors to give it a real birthday party feeling.
A zoo-themed birthday card just feels extra wild in the best possible way!

Lente KreaDoe 2026

Wat was het een geweldig feestje!

Samen met DeKwebbel en Plotternerd hebben we 3 dagen mogen knallen met toffe workshops.
Het was een feestje, prachtige resultaten van alle deelnemers, iedereen ging met een glimlach weg.

Sublimatie workshops met de Epson SC F100 en een Plotter workshop met de Siser Juliet, beide in combinatie met digitaal tekenen in ProCreate!

Zo tof om met je favoriete machines een workshop te kunnen geven, de SC F100 is echt mijn favoriete sublimatie printer, heb hem nu een jaar of 5 en nog geen dag spijt van gehad.

De Siser Juliet snijplotter heb ik nog niet zo heel lang, maar echt deze machine is geweldig, de print and cut functie is bij geen enkele snijmachine die op dit moment te koop is in Nederland zo goed als bij de Siser Juliet. Dus mocht je print and cut net zo leuk vinden als ik dan is dit DE machine voor jou!

Voor mij is het ongelooflijk belangrijk om te delen hoe ontzettend dankbaar we zijn voor de prachtige sponsoring van Hobbyplotter, Epson en Siser! Neem absoluut eens een kijkje bij deze geweldige merken en shop, en als je vragen hebt, aarzel dan niet om ze te stellen!

Lori Whitlock April Blog Hop!

This month I created a baby card, because I’m completely in a grandma-to-be vibe right now… I’m becoming a grandma in June!!! 💙
It’s such an exciting time, and of course I couldn’t resist making a sweet card to celebrate the arrival of a little one.

For this project, I made a baby boy card in a fun Z-fold style.
I love how interactive this type of card is it gives you a little something extra compared to a standard card, and it’s perfect for showcasing all those adorable baby elements.
I used sweet colors to make it extra special for welcoming a baby boy.

Silhouette Summit Japan 2025

Wat een avontuur! Stefan en ik zijn op vrijdag 29 augustus om 20.15 vertrokken naar Tokyo – het begin van onze reis naar Japan! 🇯🇵

Na een lange vlucht kwamen we aan in de bruisende stad en verbleven we 3 nachten in een hotel in Shibuya. Hier hebben we heerlijk de toerist uitgehangen: gemiddeld zo’n 18.000 stappen per dag gelopen. We zagen het standbeeld van Hachi, de beroemde hond uit de film met Richard Gere, staken natuurlijk de iconische Shibuya Crossing over (drukste kruispunt ter wereld!, genoten van het uitzicht vanaf de Tokyo Tower, bezochten de indrukwekkende Meiji Shrine, wandelden door een park bovenop een hoog gebouw en proefden van de vele overheerlijke restaurants. Tokyo is écht een stad die nooit slaapt en waar je ogen tekort komt! En zeker een stad waar we naar terug zullen gaan.

Op 2 september stapten we op de trein naar Yokohama, waar we aanwezig mochten zijn bij de Silhouette Summit 2025– de reden van deze fantastische reis. Het hotel was werkelijk geweldig: een prachtige kamer en een uitzicht dat vooral ’s avonds adembenemend was. We verbleven hier tot 6 september.

Tijdens de Summit hebben we zoveel mooie dingen meegemaakt:

Dag 1: productreleases, een heerlijke lunch en inspirerende workshops
Dag 2: social media moment 🎥 voor content en creativiteit en bezoek aan Silhouette headquarters Japan!
Dag 3: een workshop sushi maken 🍣 én een trip naar Asakusa (oké, met héél veel regen 🌧️, maar nog steeds genieten!)

Als afsluiting was er een afscheidsdiner met een waanzinnig programma: een optreden van Japanse drummers, een show van geisha’s en zelfs een demo van sumoworstelaars! 🥁👘🤼‍♂️ Het was een avond – en eigenlijk een hele week – vol indrukken, gezelligheid en onvergetelijke herinneringen.

Ik ben Silhouette ontzettend dankbaar dat wij hier deel van mochten uitmaken. Het was niet alleen een reis naar Japan, maar ook een reis vol nieuwe ervaringen, inspiratie en vriendschappen.

September’s Blog Hop Fun + Giveaway!

For today’s hop I created an easel card designed by Lori Whitlock, it is called A2 Easel Card Fall Squirrel . I decided to give it a little personal twist! Instead of the original “Happy Birthday” sentiment, I left the text off and added two cute
