Lori Whitlock April Blog Hop!

This month, I created something cute and fun to celebrate Easter: a chick-shaped Easter lantern!

SVG single file or bundle / SILHOUETTE

I made two versions, a boy and a girl.
For the girl version, I added a sweet little detail: the bow is taken from Lori Whitlock’s lamb lantern file.
It’s a small touch, but it gives the chick an extra charming look!

These little lanterns make perfect springtime decorations, and you can even pop a small LED light inside to bring them to life.
They’re sure to add a joyful, handmade touch to any Easter celebration!

Inspiratie | Leuke Paaskaart!

Vandaag even het kaartje laten zien die ik als korte tutorial voor het Lori Whitlock blog gemaakt heb.

Het is een kaart die je plat kunt versturen maar heel schattig rechtop kunt laten staan als je hem ontvangt!
Dit soort kaartjes vind ik echt geweldig, en geloof me, de ontvangers reageren altijd super enthousiast!

Hieronder laat ik nog wat fotos zien, hierop zie je hoe de kaart in elkaar zit.

Zoals je op de laatste foto ziet heb je genoeg plek om een persoonlijke boodschap achter te laten.

November Blog Hop 2024 – Snowman Giftbag

Crafting a Festive Treat Bag for My Son’s Classmates, was on my to do list…

With the holiday season just around the corner, I was on the hunt for a unique way to spread some cheer at my youngest son’s school Christmas dinner. I wanted to create something fun and festive for his classmates to take home, and that’s when I found a project that was so cute, I had to make it. Lori’s designs are always a joy to work with, and this treat bag is no exception.

For this project, I used my Silhouette Cameo 5, paired with an electrostatic mat for cutting. The end result was a set of adorable, holiday-themed treat bags – perfect for candy and a little gift.

Silhouette | Graveren met de Curio 2

Graveren, ik vind het geweldig… en met de Curio 2 helemaal!

Ik heb de Curio 2 geleend en moet zeggen, ben helemaal overtuigd dat ik die erbij wil… en Ja ik weet ik heb het een en ander in huis al… maar dit… nog niet 😛

Hieronder zie je wat foto’s van graveren en opgevuld!! graveren van metaal.

Zeg nou zelf… als je naar het filmpje hieronder kijkt… geweldig toch!

En als deze je niet overtuigd… dan even deze bekijken!

Echt ik ben helemaal enthousiast geworden hiervan! Ook op plexiglas kun je prachtig graveren, en nog belangrijker je afbeeldingen opvullen!

2 Dezelfde afbeeldingen op 2 verschillende manieren gegraveerd, de bovensten met de routeren graveer functie en de onderste met de normale manier. ik ben zo blij met die bovenste versie! Dit is toch helemaal geweldig!

The beginning of October means that it’s time to get ready for Halloween!

In the Netherlands Halloween wasn’t a big deal when I was a kid, but last couple of years we see more and more Halloween, and we love it! My youngest is a huge fan, and for his first halloween party at a friends house ever we made a card!

Lori Whitlock Creative Team September 2024 Blog Hop!

Hello crafty friends, Welcome to the September 2024 blog hop!

School started a week ago, we had a few summer days last week, but that’s all over now, it is getting colder and started to rain… Perfect time to start working on Fall projects! I spotted this cute pumpkin in Lori her shop, and decided it fits perfectly for this time of the year!

This one I sold separately and in a bundle, the one I made is the “3D Pumpkin Vines”.

It is so beautiful when it’s getting dark!

This pumpkin is again easy to make, its done in less then 20 minutes.
Inside the pumpkin I used vellum that I collared with Distress ink, to make it less white and give it a warmer shine.

Lori Whitlock Creative Team May 2024 Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday to my crafty friends and Welcome to the May 2024 blog hop! Our Dutch spring break ended, my kids are back to school so more time to craft! The project I made for this hop is the “5×7 Card Hippie Van” it is such a fun project to make, and you can use it for so many different occasions. I made it for my son’s teacher who bought a VW van to transform into a camper van, so this fits perfectly! (SVG & Silhouette)

“Fijne Dinsdag allemaal! en welkom bij de blog hop van April 2024! De Mei vakantie is weer afgelopen, kids weer naar school, dus weer wat meer tijd om lekker creatief bezig te gaan! Het project wat ik voor deze blog hop gemaakt heb is de “5×7 Card Hippie Van” Het is echt een leuke kaart om te maken, en te gebruiken voor veel verschillende gelegenheden. Ik heb hem gemaakt voor een leraar van mijn zoon die een VW busje ombouwde om mee op vakantie gaan, dus past perfect voor deze gelegenheid! (SVG & Silhouette)”

Here you see my version of the card, and a picture of the card in the shop. I love what colors can do, both vans are the same but the colors change to whole project! I used Florence cardstock from Vaessen and some old glitter paper to give the card a little sparkle!
